Cornwall is the UK's answer to a destination wedding. Dramatic cliffs, turquoise coves, subtropical gardens, and a creative arts scene give the county a character that is unlike anywhere else in England. The mild climate extends the outdoor wedding season from April to October.
Cornwall venue hire ranges from 1,500 to 12,000 pounds. North Cornwall (Padstow, Rock, Port Isaac), the Roseland Peninsula, and West Cornwall (St Ives, Penzance) are the most popular wedding areas. Accommodation for guests can be challenging in peak summer — book early.

A Cornish Wedding
Cornwall weddings have a destination feel but without passports or flights. The drive from London is 4-5 hours, so most guests make a weekend of it. This turns a wedding into a mini-break, which guests love. Many Cornish venues offer glamping, cottages, or camping alongside the main celebration.
Planning tip
May and September offer the best combination of weather, availability, and price. Peak July and August dates are expensive and crowded. Late spring light in Cornwall is exceptional for photography.
